St. Dominic's Elementary School
Mobile, Alabama
Highlights: James was part of the championship St. Dominic's football team, which went undefeated their graduation year from eighth grade, under the leadership of Coach Morris. During the Toy Bowl, the championship game against the Allstars at Ladd Peebles Stadium, James fumbled on what was supposed to be an eighty yard touchdown run, but in the end, St. Dominic's won on the last play of the game.
McGill Toolen High School ![]() Mobile, Alabama Class of 1987 Highlights: James was class president his sophomore year, and was instrumental in putting together a class directory of phone numbers. Later, James Dorgan and Leann Sebastian, along with students from other areas schools, were selected as South Alabama's representatives in the Freedom Foundation seminar held during the winter in Valley Forge, PA.

European Semester Abroad Program Venice, Italy Fall, 1989 Highlights: The fall of the Berlin wall, U2 in Paris, skiing in Austria, the falls in Yugoslavia, Speakers Corner in London, crepes in Paris, the Haufbrau house at Octoberfest, pizza in Naples, the romance, music, and pasta of a semester in Venice, the Louvre, fellow students, Andy, the professors, and the friendly Venetians. Spring Hill College Mobile, Alabama Class of 1991 Bachelor of Arts ![]() English Highlights: James was a member of nationally ranked sailing team, traveling all over the country for collegiate regattas, from Annapolis, to Gainesville, to Oklahoma. Spring Hill was chosen also to represent the United States in the US - Japan Goodwill regatta in Newport Beach, California. Widener University School of Law International Studies Program Nairobi, Kenya Summer, 2003 Highlights: Climbing Mount Kenya, camping along the Indian Ocean at Twiga Lodge, safaris to Masai Mara, Samburu, the Ngoro Ngoro crater, the train from Nairobi to Mombasa, the local people, Carnivore Restaurant, the beautiful animals, the balance of nature, and that endless sky.
