Lauren Spear Dorgan and James were married on June 1, 2002.  Lauren is originally from Valley, Alabama. 

Lauren is a 1996 graduate of Prince Institute Court Reporting School of Montgomery, Alabama.  She is a free lance court reporter, which means that she works directly for attorneys.  As a court reporter, she attends and takes down depositions, and also court proceedings.  She is able to take down or "write" over 225 words per minute.    Lauren is a certified court reporter with the Alabama Court Reporters Association.  This means that she can take down depositions, assist with video depositions, provide conference room and or hotel availability for depositions by out of town attorneys, and assist with all areas of municipal, district, or circuit court anywhere in South Alabama.  Lauren primarily works in both Mobile and Baldwin County.  Her busiest area of practice is private litigation, depositions, and video depositions. 

Although she has been invited to join a number of area firms, Lauren enjoys working for herself, and making her own schedule.  Due to this setup, Lauren is able to take off when she wants, while simultaneously being able to meet the needs of her clients.
