2018 HESI/Transocean Existing Client Claims Update
I was represented by a previous Law Firm / Attorney / Advocate in the Deepwater Horizon Settlement, but I have not heard from them in years. Are you accepting new HESI/Transocean claimants?
Due to the recent determination on how claims will be processed, we are
strongly encouraging claimants (at this late stage in the process) who were previously represented by an attorney or law firm or advocate in the BP Deepwater Horizon Economic & Property Damages Settlement (DHEPDS), also known as the Deepwater Horizon (DWH) Settlement, to remain with their prior counsel or advocate in the next HESI/Transocean Settlement as well, even if they have not heard from them in years, and should reestablish contact with their previous advocate at this point. If contact cannot be reestablished for any reason (for instance if the adjusting firm who assisted you is no longer in business), we recommend that you

to alert the claims administrator by completing and filing a REP-1 form (a form available on that website) that informs the claims administrator that you are now representing yourself, so correspondence will then come to you.
What if I represented myself in the previous DWH Settlement, what should I do?
If unrepresented in the previous DWH settlement, we encourage claimants (at this late stage in the process) to CLICK HERE
to visit www.gulfspillpunitivedamagessettlement.com
for more information on how best to proceed at this point, and to update your mailing address with the claims administrator.
Where can I get more information regarding the upcoming HESI/Transocean Settlement?
We encourage all claimants who have any additional questions at this point to visit the HESI/Transocean website. To visit www.gulfspillpunitivedamagessettlement.com
